About the Artist Betta grew up in Montgomery County, MD and currently lives and creates in Mount Airy, MD with her family. She attended Montgomery College and later graduated from the University of MD in College Park.
She has always loved the arts and took fine art classes as often as possible during college and while raising her family.
She draws her inspiration from her travels, memories from childhood, and “Art Mondays” with friends and family. Over the years she’s worked with pen and ink sketching, ceramics, charcoal and pastels, collage and other mediums. She works mostly in acrylics today finding her greatest enjoyment in their versatility and vibrant colors.
With encouragement from her friends and family, she recently began displaying her works in local art festivals and markets. She is a member of many local and regional Arts Alliances and is continuously looking for opportunities to support the arts community in Maryland.
She continues to build her portfolio, and looks forward to meeting other artists and art lovers whenever and wherever her work is on display.
